Bhangra at Tanjong Pagar??

Every day is a new experience at Yoga East and House of Guru Ram Das Ji. Yesterday was the most privately funny class I have taught to date. Imagine this setting: busy MRT train, small park beside the entrance, hot sun, very humid, throngs of people heading home after a long day at work, and a sweaty group of ladies led by an energetic and red-faced bhangra teacher, shouting out commands and generally having a great time. Passersby stop and gawk, one or two from Punjab thinking "Who is this girl teaching bhangra? and what is she doing?!"A few stop and look, judgmental, giggling, amazed, awe-struck, excited and the range of emotions goes on and on...
What an interesting experience, and one that I won't forget.
